Matter Closing Wizard

Work through closing preparation using recorded task, time and invoice evidence plus your own session review checklist.

What it does today

Read-only closing preparation for current verified matter: bounded task, time-entry and invoice evidence plus session-only human attestations. No legal clearance, automatic status change, trust reconciliation, calendar clearance, notices, document completeness or retention verification.

How to use

  1. In Clio, open Matterevo and choose Matter Closing Wizard from the Tool Library. Use the search box or the Matter operations family filter to find it.
  2. Enter the details the planner asks for.
  3. Review the proposed outcome, item by item.
  4. Edit or remove anything that is not right.
  5. Confirm to create the reviewed records in Clio.

Before you rely on it

Verify final billing, trust balance, open tasks, future events, documents, client notice, and retention information. The current scope, including what the tool does not do, is listed under What it does today.

Matterevo works within your existing Clio permissions. Paying never grants additional Clio permissions.
