Folder Template Builder

Build and save nested folder trees, choose a verified destination and review folder metadata and dependent creation steps.

What it does today

Visual nested folder tree with navigable verified matter destinations, encrypted named templates, per-folder categories and external properties, existing sibling reuse and reviewed dependent creates. Existing metadata is not overwritten; server-owned fields are assigned by Clio.

How to use

  1. In Clio, open Matterevo and choose Folder Template Builder from the Tool Library. Use the search box or the Documents & research family filter to find it.
  2. Enter the details the planner asks for.
  3. Review the proposed outcome, item by item.
  4. Edit or remove anything that is not right.
  5. Confirm to create the reviewed records in Clio.

Apply configurable folder trees by practice area, matter type, or stage. The current scope, including what the tool does not do, is listed under What it does today.

Matterevo works within your existing Clio permissions. Paying never grants additional Clio permissions.
