Duplicate Contact Finder

Inspect possible duplicate contacts and review an explicit name or title correction without merging or deleting records.

What it does today

Normalized name, email and phone match evidence; shared-contact warnings and reviewed name/title update. No automatic merge/delete or address identity inference.

How to use

  1. In Clio, open Matterevo and choose Duplicate Contact Finder from the Tool Library. Use the search box or the Contacts & intake family filter to find it.
  2. Choose the records or sources to compare.
  3. Inspect the evidence and differences side by side. Each finding links to its source record.
  4. Decide what to do. This review does not change Clio on its own.

Before you rely on it

Detect likely duplicates using normalized names, emails, phone numbers, companies, and addresses. The current scope, including what the tool does not do, is listed under What it does today.

Matterevo works within your existing Clio permissions. Paying never grants additional Clio permissions.
