Ask questions using reviewed document excerpts sent to your chosen AI provider, then inspect source citations before using answers.

What it does today

Actual configured-provider generation from approved user-entered document excerpts and precise locations, backed by current-matter metadata pins. Exact disclosure preview/consent, abort/stale-result guards, strict JSON/known-citation validation and human-reviewed output/source exports. No automatic document retrieval, semantic proof, legal conclusions or Clio writes.

How to use

In Clio, open Matterevo and choose Ask This Matter from the Tool Library. Use the search box or the AI assistance family filter to find it.
Search or filter to narrow the records shown.
Open a row to inspect the source record in Clio.
Read the coverage notes. Where Matterevo cannot read a source, it says so instead of guessing.

Before you rely on it

Ask a configured AI provider a question about explicitly selected user excerpts and review cited answer assertions, unanswered gaps and source exports. The current scope, including what the tool does not do, is listed under What it does today.

Matterevo works within your existing Clio permissions. Paying never grants additional Clio permissions.
