Naming Convention Enforcer

Audit current-matter naming conventions, review document or task renames, and apply selected changes after checking collisions and record versions.

What it does today

Current-matter naming audit and reviewed conditional document/task rename writes, preserving extensions and exact old/new names. Live ETag, name, parent, matter and bounded cross-resource collision checks before dispatch. Folder rename, firm-wide rules and matter-name changes remain outside scope.

How to use

  1. In Clio, open Matterevo and choose Naming Convention Enforcer from the Tool Library. Use the search box or the Matter operations family filter to find it.
  2. Select the records you want to work on.
  3. Set the change you want to make.
  4. Review the planned change for each record. Nothing is written to Clio until you confirm.
  5. Confirm, then check the results list for any record that was skipped or failed.

Before you rely on it

Build a naming convention, audit task/document/folder names and apply reviewed document or task renames. The current scope, including what the tool does not do, is listed under What it does today.

Matterevo works within your existing Clio permissions. Paying never grants additional Clio permissions.
