Contact Data Normalizer

Review a shortlist of contact spacing and phone punctuation cleanup candidates without automatically changing contact records.

What it does today

Read-only review of up to 25 current-matter linked contacts: whitespace cleanup, email outer spacing and opt-in punctuation removal for explicit international phone numbers. Per-field shortlist; no contact writes, address inference or capitalization changes.

How to use

  1. In Clio, open Matterevo and choose Contact Data Normalizer from the Tool Library. Use the search box or the Contacts & intake family filter to find it.
  2. Select the records you want to work on.
  3. Set the change you want to make.
  4. Review the planned change for each record. Nothing is written to Clio until you confirm.
  5. Confirm, then check the results list for any record that was skipped or failed.

Before you rely on it

Review whitespace, email spacing and explicit international phone punctuation for current-matter linked contacts. The current scope, including what the tool does not do, is listed under What it does today.

Matterevo works within your existing Clio permissions. Paying never grants additional Clio permissions.
