Expense Receipt Capture

Record receipt-backed expenses with local file evidence or matter document references, validate amounts and export a reviewed worksheet.

What it does today

Manual receipt-backed expense worksheet with local filename/size/SHA-256 evidence or current-matter document reference, validated amounts and safe CSV export. OCR, uploads, Clio expense creation, tax/reimbursement and category-ID mapping remain pending.

How to use

  1. In Clio, open Matterevo and choose Expense Receipt Capture from the Tool Library. Use the search box or the Time & productivity family filter to find it.
  2. Choose the records or sources to compare.
  3. Inspect the evidence and differences side by side. Each finding links to its source record.
  4. Decide what to do. This review does not change Clio on its own.

Before you rely on it

Extract date, vendor, amount, and category from a receipt for confirmation. The current scope, including what the tool does not do, is listed under What it does today.

Matterevo works within your existing Clio permissions. Paying never grants additional Clio permissions.
