Download-to-Matter

Match a recent download’s metadata to a file you choose, then review its handoff to the matter upload workflow.

What it does today

Explicit optional downloads permission, bounded recent completed download metadata with path/URL removal, user-picked local file with exact filename/size matching and review, eligibility recheck before handoff to existing gated upload review. No automatic filesystem reads, source fetch or direct upload; metadata matching does not prove identity.

How to use

  1. In Clio, open Matterevo and choose Download-to-Matter from the Tool Library. Use the search box or the Documents & research family filter to find it.
  2. Pick an option from the compact controls.
  3. Read the exact before and after values Matterevo shows.
  4. Confirm to apply the change, or close the tool to leave Clio unchanged.

Before you rely on it

Send a recent browser download directly into a chosen Clio matter folder. The current scope, including what the tool does not do, is listed under What it does today.

Matterevo works within your existing Clio permissions. Paying never grants additional Clio permissions.
